napfcheck chicory powder - Prebiotic inulin to support the intestinal flora
The chicory root naturally contains plenty of inulin, at least 60 %, as well as pectins. Both belong to the so-called fermentable and therefore prebiotic fibers and serve as a food source for the intestinal flora. This promotes good bacteria and supports digestion in general. It is known and proven that lactobacilli in particular like inulin as a nutrient substrate. This not only promotes their growth, but also the formation of short-chain fatty acids in the intestine, which in turn serve as a source of energy for the intestinal cells (enterocytes). Chicory powder is therefore the ideal supplement to the daily feed to do something good for the intestines every day.
